Wild caught lizards die in great numbers during transportation and because of poor nutrition. If you want such a pet, you’d better look for a responsible breeder. These creatures grow up to 7 feet in length and require much place and hot climate.

All species of these lizards are herbivores or omnivores feeding mostly on fruits, flowers and leaves and only occasionally finding eggs and insects. It is rather difficult to provide the right food for your pet, so you should think twice prior to buying it.
